Why would you use a Sante Cooper rig for stationary fishing behind a dam? Jc

When you need to reel in don't drag the weight before you reel. rod up high and reel as fast as you can will work pretty good most of the time.

I made me some spider sinkers this evening. Took a 3 ounce bank sinker drilled some holes though it then wrapped some thread around the wire creating a thread dam and put some CA glue on the thread. Its not perfect but it will do I hopefully. I also made some bottom bouncer sinker and I am real curious to see how they do. Maybe I can catch me a mess of blues before they stop letting water out. Thanks everyone for helping with your suggestions!!!!
