Anyone but you I would call BS on. There ain't no fish in Lewisville! Especially Crappie!!! Glad you found some. I have been educating all the 4" to 9" crappie to quit biting jigs for you. Hope the back held up for you.

Ernest,
Happy to see you were on the lake and had a productive trip.
Have not been on the lake since the recent floods - would you mind sharing your perspective of what it was like to be on the lake since flooded, general areas you scouted - like from 121 to the cut, and if you noticed any potential hazards to be aware of?

The ramp at Pier 121 is open now. In my opinion the big problem at Lewisville is the band of timber and brush around the shore line. Water is 10' deep and brush so thick you can't fish in it. Fish can get lost in there. I'm sure there are lots of schools of fish suspended in the lake but the brushpiles are mostly too deep to hold them and there's not much standing timber to fish. Bridges seem to be loaded with very small fish. Water will hopefully continue to drop and fishing may be fantastic this fall.

I shouldn't have posted the above pic. I like it when people think there's no fish in Lewisville.
