Another nice report Chuck! Love the Hill Country Gills too. Hoping to get dow to Austin in the next couple weeks to visit my cousin and kayak with him. Spoke with a good friend of mind who lives in Blanco. He said that the Blanco State Park is closed and will not open until either October or November. He said it got completely flooded in May. He said the Blanco River was 43 feet over flood stage which is the highest it has ever been. A major bridge was also washed away. Don't think I will be fishing that area any time soon. Any pics of the flood or what it looks like now? Don't know about any pictures Andrew. If I can find some I will post em!

Love those clear water Redbreast. Good job. Hate to hear the new about the Blanco State Park being closed! I heard that the Blanco River was 43 feet over flood stage! That's a ton of water!

I fished the Blanco yesterday and it's a mess. I also checked out the State Park and it really got hit hard. I will be very surprised if it reopened this year! Side Note: The Perdernales River is in pretty good shape!

Thanks Chuck for the update. Hopefully they get the Blanco Park opened in time for the trout stockings.
