This happens more than we know. I saw two guys get busted with 50 in the live well caught in one of the watershed lakes close to Reelfoot Lake in TN. The lake had just been restocked with Bass the week before. Wardens were checking boats at the main hwy.. They thought they were home free meat hunters.

Tennessee Anglers Poachers Arrested on Nickajack.
There, I fixed the title of the article. It annoys me that they refer to people who use cast nets and exceed creel limits as anglers.
