Several years ago at the suggestion of this forum I installed a relay on my 1999 Silverado (new model back then.)
The relay tied the low and high beams together so that on high beam both low and high beams were on.
This greatly increased the peripheral light when on high beam.
My relay is shot and I have searched for a new one and have had zero luck.
Anyone remember these and maybe where to get another?
Thanks,
Jack

I wish drivers would keep other drivers in mind when they go about altering their headlights.

I don't see this mod as any problem to others. This mod makes no change for the low beam setting. It only adds in the low beam when on the high beam setting. Since you are supposed to cut your high beams to low when you approach another vehicle anyway, there is no change to others. And if you don't cut your high beams you are already blinding the approaching driver anyway and the addition of a low beam isn't going to make it any worse.
