Going to Caddo this weekend. "Lake Levels" website indicates that the lake is currently 2.95' high. Anyone have any additional info re the water clarity, open ramps, and fishing conditions? Thanks for any help.

Water is suppose back flow from river into Caddo due to flooding. Caddo is high and muddy. I haven't been so can't say much other then it's been tough for few i know been prefishinf. Also is a very big championship tournament this weekend out there

Thanks for the info. Do you think the problem is the water color or the abundance of new cover?

I'd say clarity. The cover is always there. It's probably like chocolate milk right now.

i fished it this past weekend, braved the storm on Sat morning, and did very well. I have a lot of experience on that lake though, i would not say that it is much different than it was all last year, the water is up a little bit. But not much. I launched from oil city. Water is stained-murkey as it always is. Fish are there, but as always with Caddo, you need to fish slow. PM me if you would like any additional information on it.

I fished it today. Water is a lot cleaner than it was Fourth of July weekend. I caught a 6.8 today fishing the deep trees with big worms Texas rigged. Caught a good one and lost a giant last night on yellow spro frog. Frog bite didn't start until right before dark for me though.
It was hot out there. Water temps I saw on FF ranged from 89 to 93.
I didn't catch a lot of fish but caught some quality ones.
