 changing curado 201e7 to 5:1 gear ratio

so i wanted to change my curado 201e7 to a 5:1 gear ratio. Got the main gear and pinion gear from a chronarch 201e6. All good until swapping parts out. the main gear from the curado is 37.6mm the one from the chronarch is 35.9mm...doah  so know the key washer wont fit from the curado onto the new main gear from the chronarch. does anyone know whether i just need to get the key washer from the chronarch. does anyone have a 201e6 key washer they want to sell? when i ordered the parts the took 4-EVER.

sorry can't help you, but I know it can be done because I did exact same thing a 201e7 to 5:1. Works great, but I had it professionally done. Wish they had more gear options for left handed reels!

I'm not sure if it works this way, but I have a 200e5 and I would rather it be the 7.1 gear ratio. If it will work I'll swap parts with you

I'm not sure if it works this way, but I have a 200e5 and I would rather it be the 7.1 gear ratio. If it will work I'll swap parts with you thats a right handed one right do you have a caliper....cann you measure it?

If you want to change it to a 5:1 , you will want the gears and key washer from a Chronarch 201E5, not an E6...Gears from and E6 are only going to make it a 6:1

If you want to change it to a 5:1 , you will want the gears and key washer from a Chronarch 201E5, not an E6...Gears from and E6 are only going to make it a 6:1 sorry i said 201e6 meant 201e5...thanks man

Ok good, the 200E5/201E5 parts are the same so that trade would work.
