That's the first brush pile I've ever seen that has a shingled roof...
Did you launch at the marina or has another ramp opened up?

Sanger Marina is the only ramp open. I ran by Johnson and Isla duBois and the water is still up in the parking lots. You can even see the ramps. I drove over the fishing pier at Isla DuBois and my graph showed the top of the pier was 4.3 feet deep ( just the light posts are above water). The water is pretty clear - it has a funny tea color to it but you can see bottom in about 3 1/2 feet of water. I could clouds of baitfish swimming around the mouth of Johnson Branch but nothing was after them. I ride around looking for surfacing sand bass but never saw anything. I tried a popper in Arkansas cove and had a ton of bluegills chase it to the boat but none were big enough to catch. Same thing for the bass- all the bass that came up to give my popper a look were about three inches long. Oh well, it was nice to get out in a boat for a change.

Is there any access for bank fishing there now?

Not that I could tell Matt. I don't bank fish so I really wasn't paying attention to that but the water is still way up into the trees and brush in most places.
