I loved fishing the Red River. It was a great venue. I am happy we are going back! Hopefully the river will come down a bit! But I loved fishing during the day and gambling during the night! I am looking forward to it. Between the locks there are plenty of places for everyone to fish and not be on top of each other!

River is closed also right now guys. Most likely b mid next month last I heard

And going to be a lot longer then that before they get Texoma down and the river stabilizes. River is closed also right now guys. Most likely b mid next month last I heard

The hope that they would go back to the red was the only reason I fished all of the events. Awesome choice! I can't wait for the whole experience.

Can't wait! The river will be totally different with the flooding and it being a 5 fish limit. It's a cool place to fish and plenty fun to be had at night!

Meh - would be nice to see a change in venue. # years in a row at the RR when there are some many choices in the state of Texas that can hold the event.

So;
with the large number of "Qualifiers" that won't go back to the Red River,,,,,,is there an "alternate" list for those of us that didn't fish enough tournaments to qualify but would like to fish the Championship ???
AND
not bitch and complain about where it is being held.

I don't have a dog in this fight but I would think a Texas Trail would hold a championship on a Texas lake, good luck to all the qualifiers.

Hey guys,
Shreveport guy here, just wanted to welcome you guys back to the Red River again, as far as the guy whining about no places to stay, one he must have had his butt handed to him last year, I guess Bassmaster Classic and FLW Forrest wood cup hastedly chose red river for those two venues! The river is defiantly going to be totally different from last year, if I can help anyone, conditions or anything let me know. congrats to qualifiers!

People will complain no mater were it was held at! Iam excited about the river going to be fun and very different this year after the flood!
