Going to fish this lake next week possibly. Is it worth going to try it out? Any advice on running the lake? Or not even worth fishing right now?

Do a search for "Welsh" for 6 months back in the bass section in either January or February. There was guy who posted a map that he uses to run the lake. Just from the looks of the map, it can be tricky. Be careful, idle only if unsure. Good lake.

Mr Deputy . I fished it Sunday am . The lake is a foot low , the ramp is a mess , slime moss everywhere . Water is 100 degrees almost the whole lake . The cooler water is choked out with slime moss . Unless you like sliming your boat . I would hit another lake . The ramp is silted in bad as well , had too use 4wd to get my boat out . Shawn .

The ramp at the end of the road on the north end of the lake? I thought that ramp was steep and into fairly deep water, I never had any trouble there.

Or did they reopen the ramp close to the dam?

Danny the main ramp mid lake is usable . But the rain has washed a lot of sand and mud onto it , and with the lake a foot low , it is extra steep . the moss at the ramp is really bad as well , took a hour at the car wash to wash it off my boat and trailer . I don't think you want to slime your Legend . lol . Duc the pines pump is not running . Shawn .
