Status: I live in Tyler, actually Noonday,five minutes from Lake Palestine. I'v been married to the most patient wife a fella could have for 6 1/2 years. She needs to be patient, cuz I have none. We have a wonderful 4 year old son Cody Lane, who is starting Pre-K in about a month, but he thinks it's college. I reckon the best thing I love about fishing is the time spent with my son. Family: A beautiful wife that will fish with me all day long as long as the weather is nice. I have to fish by myself in the winter.Two daughters 21 and 19. My oldest has a 4 yr old daughter(that makes me a grandfather)that is the sunshine of my life. I believe that we were put on this earth to be grandparents.

Pet: A black lab (Lester) that my wife calls her son. I fail to see the resemblance.

Military: 18yrs as a fighter jet mechanic. I've been around the world a couple of times and I always end up back here. I was part of Operation Deny Flight in Bosnia(operating out of Italy) and Desert Storm(operating out of Turkey).

Job: I work in a factory now on a production line and what can I say.....these rotating 12hr shifts give me a lot of time off in the middle of the week and every other weekend.

Home: Since both girls moved out the wife and I have the house to ourselves(and Lester). We live 4minutes from the Eisenhower ramp.

Hobbies:Fishing will always be #1. Also teaching my grand-daughter to fish has become another aspect of our sport.

Boat: 1980 Tidecraft(blue/white)This is the first boat I've ever owned. Until last year I pounded the banks all around the lake and down both sides of the river.

Thoughts on Life: I've got friends I've never met. The internet and websites like this has made it possible to meet people that none of us would have ever met on our own. Whether you have been around the world of never left your hometown you that America is a great country with great resources that HAVE to be preserved. The wisdom and experiences of our sport must be passed on or a tiny aspect of our culture will die.

Fishing experience: I really didnt start fishing until around age 22. Good Friend of mine took me out to Black Creek in the Grasslands of Decatur,,, we tore the bass up. From that point on I have been hooked. A year later I was signing the papers on a new Stratos...Yep I got the fishing bug... in 96 I joined the Irving Bass Club and have learned tons from the great people in that club.... I am now historian and do the website for the club.... I fished media bass for a couple of years untill I got tired of unreliable partners (so if your reliable and would like to fish a team trail.. let me know)..... ok thats my short life story...LOL
