Any chance they open the gates on the dam and start letting out more water soon? Would love to get on my home lake at some point this summer.

wow i didn't even figure to check. It has been going down pretty slow. Or maybe that is just me frustrated about not being able to get out on the water.

There's just so much water man. It's honestly hard to comprehend. It's been dumping out all 3 gates for weeks now and it's only come down a little bit.

Once the area gets flooded like this, just a quarter inch of rain makes a massive difference.

All the water that's being let out of Roberts has to pass through Lewisville too. Lewisville is currently dropping almost 3" per day on days when there is no big rain in the watershed. It's going to be a while.

The lake is so full. Never seen it this high. Lots of fished stacked on points. My best pattern has been boat ramps.

We had a little over an inch of rain at the lake yesterday. According to the Corp article today in the Denton paper they expect the lake to rise some again.
