I have the Motor Guide Xi5 with gps. I was on the main lake today using the anchor lock and it really holds you right on the same spot, even in the wind we had on Fork today.

Fished last Sunday in 25 sustained and 30 to 35 gust. Trolling motor basically useless. Went up river. If you see white caps a good rule of thumb is its blowing 20 to 25 at least.
