It was still holding about 20 FOW from the last flood in May. I think it's at 10-15%. It's definitely catch some of this water, a lot fell north of town.

Both Twin Buttes and OC Fisher are more than puddles again finally. Fisher has a hole in the dam that was never fixed while it was dry so it's running out as fast as it's coming in. They should all three catch some after today. Lake Ivie should catch a good amount as well.

Don't get too excited about ivie coming up any. It and choke have the worst watersheds in Texas. I've given up on both of em. Hope I'm wrong though...

From the San Angelo Connection Facebook page -
Two rivers are flowing significantly, both flowing to O.H. Ivie, which is east of San Angelo and southeast of Ballinger. Rainfall totals are shown below, with totals up to 4 inches on the accumulation radar. However, The Connection has had reports of 5 inches in Paulann, so amounts may be higher. Both Elm Creek and the Concho River flow rates are shown below. A single cubic foot of water per second (cfs) contributes 1.98 acre-feet of water per day. Ivie water is split among Midland, Odessa, Abilene, Big Spring and Snyder (and others). San Angelo has rights to1/6th of the water. We won't speculate on total capture, just yet. It's all good news, though. Just in: The Middle Concho River is now flowing 118 cfs towards Twin Buttes. San Angelo has 100% rights to that water when captured.

My buddy in Paulann said he has 5.25 inches in his gauge this morn. All that water is flowing to Ivie.

My information came straight from a lady at the South gate...she also said that a professional welder came in to donate his time and materials to fix it while it was dry; the city ran him off because he wasn't bonded with the COSA.
