Are there any good bass ponds or small lakes for bank fishing in the San Antonio area?

I'll be staying near Sea World for a few days and would like to get a line wet in some of my free time. I was considering taking the boat, but it seems it may be too much effort and cost for too little reward.

I tried the bank fishing section and got no responses, so here I am.
