I did a boomerang trip last night. It's nice to have a trip where you lose count after a couple hours. We need to hit this together Bryan [HERROUTDOORS]. Awesome Trip! *This is posted on the DFW Kayak Fishing Facebook group as well: https://www.facebook.com/groups/433502153419260/

Congrats on a good night? of fishing. And kudos to BRA for allowing the last few inches of water above pool level at PK to bleed off and keep the river flowing. Puzzled why they don't use the same practice at Granbury-we're either at 500 cfs or 0 in these waning aftereffects of an outstanding spring.

Yes, [Snook20]..great kayak. She's been on the water a lot this year. Thanks for letting me buy her.

In hopes of not sounding like a complete idiot. Did you float down stream and paddle back to the launch point? Wasn't sure if the flow was too strong, requiring a secondary extraction point. I would love to get below PK with my son and fish that stretch!

I started at HWY 16 and floated downstream. I didn't have any trouble paddling back upstream...if they would've let more water out, it probably would be a challenge. I checked the BRA website and they said they would let out more if they got some rain. I checked the weather and figured I was safe.
