So my girlfriend and I are heading to Englewood, Fla, for three days in July and...of course....I'm going to try and squeeze some fishing in. We are going to see her grandfather, but I figured we could hit the mangroves or beach for a while.
Is anyone familiar with this area? It's between Fort Myers and Tampa. A couple Google searches revealed that there are some fly fishing guides in the area, but I'm looking to just head out on my own for a couple hours here and there. Does anyone have advice or a good contact? I just want to make the most of the few hours I have to maybe catch a redfish or snook, or whatever.
