 Mid Summer Spawn and a new Fishing Buddy

Hit my favorite sunfish hotspot. First chance I've had to wet a line in a while. Got about ten of the greenies, about 5 long ears(long ears firmly planted on spawning beds), and 3 marauding black bass, just looking for an opening to gorge themselves on either the long ears or the eggs in the beds! This is a representative sample of the size fish I caught. All released to fight again and continue defending a nest. Also picked up a new fishing bud. Rather handsome specimen, but not sure what he is.  My new fishing buddy:  Full moon always brings good summertime fishing. Rudy
