Well I pulled a dumb-arse move the other day and ended up breaking about 8" off my weightless/dropshot bait cast rod
It was an Original Champion series Dobyn's with the Lamiglass blank.
This thing was perfect as it had one of the best tips for casting and working a bait, but the flex and strength of the rod was so perfect for these applications.
Going to be a tough road to find a replacement. Seems like most rod companies are going away from different action tips with standard weight blanks.

I'll bet Gary will fix you up. That blank is what made this one soo good, and they don't offer it anymore...

I feel your pain! I had an old Pinnacle rod that to me was absolutely perfect for senko/fluke or tiny little finesse jigs. It was a MH rod but very light for a MH. I broke it this spring and have yet to find anything close. Everything I have found so far is just not right. I ended up buying the new Pinnacle that they list for this application but it's just not the same action.

We used to build a casting senko/fluke rod that blank was made by laming lass. They no longer make that model and it was TRULY my favorite rod. I been able to get it close with different blanks but not ever the perfect match. I feel your pain fish killer.
Broke mine in the famous ceiling fan prepping for a tourney.

8"??? It looked like just the tip broke off? Had it been broken before? Replaced the tip but never broken before. Broke down below the 2nd eye. Might be a little closer to 6" but either way the action is toast.
