Mike I have been tearing the Hybrids up on Ray Hubbard with your Kahuna Spoon. As you can see what's in this Hybrids Mouth.

How do you fish those flutter spoons? I have a few and have not been successful with them yet. They fall really slow with allot of action. Maybe I am using them for the wrong application. I tried using them for striper down at 20-23' in 30 FOW.

Spoon Time!!!!!! Is the right time!!!!!
Hey Big D use them with plenty of patients! Certain times on certain lakes may very a little on the tactic. Mostly I let fall all the way then burn it a few reels according to what depth your in (30ft)...reel up about 10 or so fast cranks ....let it fall ....then hang on.......

I cast it as far as I can and strip off line to let it sink.. After it hit's bottom I give it 2 hard jerks and then about 5 or 6 fast cranks and two more hard jerks and then let it fall to the bottom again and like terry said hang on! I have caught Hybrids jigging them like a slab also. Hope this helps!

Add a little bell weight to the kahuna and it will help it sink faster!
Good Fishing To Ya, Ruben

Awesome looking spoons! I'm thinking about ordering a few to try out on Travis. Quick question: Do you have any plans to make some casting/trolling spoons around that size (4-8")? I've been looking for some spoons about that size to troll from my kayak for striper and maybe some saltwater fish beyond the breakers if I get another chance to get down to the coast this year.

I can buy trolling spoons, but have not had much luck selling many. Call me to discuss the weights and styles. 214-906-3847

Unfortunately I probably won't get a chance to call til next week, I have a lot of work to get out before the holiday weekend as well as friends visiting from out of town so things are a bit hectic, but I've saved your number in my phone. I'll probably give you a call Monday or Tuesday. Thanks for responding!
