My fish were going crazy chasing dragonflies this morning, it was awesome. I caught at least 15 fish on a frog in 1 hour, nothing big, the largest was 3 - 3.5lbs. Then they turned off and I couldn't get them going again. Caught 3 more on a senko and called it quits.

Right there with you. At Fork yesterday. Caught a 17.5 inch chunk about 7:45 am in 1 foot of water, then broke off on in about 2 ft around 10 am, nothing else for the rest of the day. The breakoff was due to a weak spot in the line, popped when I set the hook. Have to say, it was hot, hot hot. When the wind switched briefly around and blew out of the southeast, it was very welcome. After that had to crank up the motor and drive around to cool off some.

Fished some smaller water in Brown County. Water was up about 5 feet. I fished all my Lake Fork high speed super duper go-to baits and got nothing....Got a backlash in my reel and went to aa Bream colored spinner bait with painted blades on one side and a skinny dipper trailer....caught 8 in about an hour in the flooded growth in 4-7 feet of water to 6#. I haven't fished with a spinner bait in 10 years but they were choking on it on Thursday night....may try it again....

Tore them up on Conroe yesterday

I went to Fork Saturday afternoon and fished Sunday morning, I caught one fish. They where tearing them up at night from what I heard or drop shot out in deep water. I don't drop shot and I don't really like being out on the lake at night, but maybe I need to reconsider my options...

Going to start again on Fork,,,,,Thursday and hope their patterns have come back around to daylight feeding.

I went to Arlington for the 1st time in about 10 years and smoked them wish I could go back today

Caught three 2-pounders in two hours here in Irving at my secret fishing hole. Sshh.

Came back to Texas for a week of "normal" fishing. I live in SW Utah where shallow fishing is 15-20' with normal here is 25-35'. Fished Athens, Fork, Palestine, Holbrook, Gilmer, and Palestine. Caught qutie a few fish MOSTLY before noon. Disappointed in overall size but my buddy who has never been on Athens caught one that had the mouth & length of a 10lber. I bet that sick looking fish didn't weigh 6 lbs. Athens still one of my FAVORITES!!!!

Shhhhh ,,,,,,, there is no fish in Athens.
Dam broke. All the fish are gone.
Really. Athens is a great little fishing lake
