Has anyone on here had better luck with one over the other in regards to # of bites? Or, if you fish Big Game on slow, dragging baits like texas-rig worms, c rigs, or jigs. What color do you use and what lb. test? Thx

I use green site fishing and clear otherwise but that's probably just out of habit. I'm not sure how much difference it really makes.

I use 15lb green on most of my moving bait setups. It's the only mono I use.

Green line in clear water...clear line in muddy water. I bet you think I'm wrong, but green in muddy water will appear black and green in clear water is more invisible than clear. Big Game is some really good line.

Big game has to much memory, I've had several break off from kinks in the line from memory, after couple uses the long starts getting rock hard and brittle.

I use clear up to 10 lb and green I will use at any test. I bought clear when I used mono on all my rigs because I ran 15 and 12 lb green and didnt want to confuse my self. I use mostly braid but still use some big game now.

Frank, I have been using the green for as long as its been around. I feel that the clear has some reflectivity that I don't care for. As for memory, I will sometimes stretch my line in cold weather before I get on the water and sometime use a line conditioner. Kinks have never been an issue except when a fluke spins it around. I love the line for its strength and its price.

I prefer the green. I use 12lb. On cranks, spinnerbaits, flukes etc. 15lbs on T rigs as well as C-rigs and jigs.

I've only used the clear and lately in 12 lb. What's the advantage of the green over the clear I might want to try it.
