Suppose to leave in two days. I have what looks like a simple repair for my MK Fortrex. Anyone in DFW do repairs "while you wait"? Any suggestions? Thank you, 361v.

I had a similar situation a while back and SW parts and Service took care of me while I waited.

Went by Lakeside Trolling Motor @ Fork on 515 between the 515 west bridge and the 154 light. Real nice guy got me up and running while there. It was those big plastic bushings where the shaft attaches/pivots to the big aluminum trussed mount/bracket. Problem is I didn't have the parts and was not sure even what was missing or wrong. Evidently this is a common problem and kind of a weak link in the system. They wear and break. Super nice guy. Said he used to own the 515 Cabins.

Without a doubt you need to go to the guy behind Minnow Bucket, he is the guy that took over Steves...I talked to him saturday, he said he has every single replacement part for Minnkota in stock! Good guy too!
