I am headed up to Amarillo later next month to visit a friend. I would like to do some fishing while up there , and it looks like there is a lake Tanglewood east of Canyon. Does anybody know anything about this lake? Is it open , and where to launch? any help is greatly appreciated.

The other lake that I would be interested in trying out is Palo Duro Canyon. Does anybody know anything about this lake ?

Thanks guys

Tanglewood is a private gated community. You have to know someone that lives there to get in.

Palo Duro Canyon doesn't have a lake. Lake Palo Duro is up by Spearman. Your best bet is Greenbelt by Claredon or head over to Ute in New Mexico.

Tanglewood is all private. It is a heck of a fishery if using live bait. My buddy lives there and we bring water dogs to the spring fed cove down the way from his house. I've never had more fun reeling in bass for hours from 5 to 9 lbs on water dogs. Just like a catfish bite. Cra cra!! We have caught hundreds of pounds of bass outta that cove but cannot catch anything else anywhere on the lake, weird.
