It was "fish on" on almost every cast this morning in Watauga. That little place never ceases to amaze me. While I never catch anything big I usually catch bluegills, greenies, and long ears plus bullheads and a bass or two - all on nightcrawlers. It serves to pass the time waiting for the area lakes to become fishable again.

At least you are getting out there. Nice variety of fish. Good job. Side Note: Both community lakes in my area are not fishable. It is going to take a few days for things to improve.

This will be one and there should be one in August as well. I know the long ears in the creek I fished last weekend were bedding. Seemed as the entire creek was one long set of long ear beds. They were biting too! Every cast resulted in a hook up or a catch! No real size but real fun!
The greenies were there, good sized, but they did not seem to be on a spawn, just a feed, lol.
