My son and I fished this lake out of kayaks and didn't get a bite. Anyone fished this lake with any success? Seems lake is very deep or very shallow. Lots of vegetation around bank but very thick. Any tips would be appreciated.

I have fished it several times and did good alot of off shore rock piles just find them and you will catch them on shake head or jigs

I've fished it several times last year in my kayak and did good by the creek in real shallow water. Alot of numbers but not real big. I think the biggest I've caught out of there is 5 pounds.

Fished it Thursday morning caught over 25 on jigs offshore did you catch them while the jig was going down or just dragging the jig from the bottom? there is a lot of grass deep, my carolina kept getting lots of grass/weeds on the weight.

Majority of my bites came when I would hop the jig about a foot off the bottom, would hit it mid hop
