The crappie are real good at Granger and will be the rest of the summer. We have been averaging 65 to 70 keepers per day with many more throw backs. I cleaned 72 today and 70 yesterday. I am now booking trips for July and August. If yall know anyone wanting to get into the action, let them know. Right now I have the only boat on the lake but it should be opened back up by the July 4 weekend. 512-365-7761

They are hitting a 1/32 oz. yellow with red head. They will not bite it if it does not have a Berkley Crappie Nibble on it. Today I cleaned 77 crappie (two trips).

Newbie question here...I know there is not a commercial map available of Granger, but is there any website that anyone knows of where I can print out a general map of the lake (i.e. river channels)? I have never been on the lake before, but want to go and definitely want to stay in the general area of the channels until I get more familiar with it. Just fishing out of a 14' flatbottom with a 9.9 hp, so I'm not exactly a speed demon anyway! Thanks in advance.

I have good maps that I sell to those who want them. They can be laminated if you want. I have them to sell at the Belton Boat Show and in my booth at Cabelas on Captain and Guide Weekend.
If you sent a text, I don't do texting. Email me at crappie1@hotmail.com or just call at about 10:30 at night-- 512-365-7761.

If you go to the Navionic website, then select the WebApp tab to see a detailed map of the lake once you zoom in. Granger is an easy lake to navigate as it is mostly clear of stickups.
