So the new Citica looks almost identical to the Curado. After a quick review a lot of the specs are the same. Ball bearings, line capacity, etc.
Curious if anyone owns the new Citica and could offer an opinion or comparison?
Thanks,

It's nearly the same reel. I think the Curado has a couple more bearings. I own both, and trust me, at that price point I won't buy another Curado.

Good to know. I was planning on getting more uniform and fishing all curados going forward but now I may change my plan to the Citica if they are that similar and less expensive.

If you search around enough, you probably can find the Curado priced close or below the Citica... Seems like just recently the price dropped onthose reels for some reason...

I agree with you there. I bought a new curado for 150 on ebay, no tax or shipping charge. But I just know how these reels trend and Im sure the curado will be $200.00 soon.

Someone told me about the only difference between the 2 is that the Curado has the sealed bearings that are ok to use in the salt and the Citica does not have sealed bearings. Just what Ive heard though.

You can get curado on ebay for $130, seems like it would be worth the extra $20, just my I currently have 3 of the curados and love them btw.
