Top water bait. early in the morning. Texas rigged Senko type bait. Thrown on lite line. Crank bait to find the brush. Make mental note of location. Work brush piles later in day with senko.
Fishing Texas lakes one at a time

Throw a drop shot roboworm. When all else fails they will hit that no matter what.

Throw a drop shot roboworm. When all else fails they will hit that no matter what. +1. I caught quite a few bass this evening throwing Aaron's Magic colored roboworms on a drop shot this evening fishing for an hour or so before the Rangers game. Sized from runt to around 2 lbs. nothing special, but it was still fun catching them on an Ultralight rod.

3 inch smoke or pumpkin colored grub on a weedless jig head. Vary your presentation and depth.
I would also try a small jerkbait.

Looks like an awesome spot! I would throw a weightless senko. Cast it out around the banks and let it sit without moving it for about 10 seconds and watch your line. Most of the time they will eat it before you even start to retrieve it. If you don't get bit at this point, give it a couple twitches and let it sit for a few seconds. Repeat all the way in. Sometime they want it faster where you will need to constantly twitch it all the back without pauses. Just experiment but this will definitely work!

Any of the baits mentioned. One would think that when the water gets high and flows through there the brush, logs etc would be stacked up at the bend toward the bridge at the far end of pic 3, and at the base of the cement dam in pic one. Try both banks from where you took the pic at working it down the bank line. Pitch into the overhanging trees, and the mouth of the bridge and dragging it along the base of the cement dam. Then work everything else. Evening and early morning would seem to be the best bets, working the shady sides.

One thing I may add to the list is a watermelon chartreuse grande bass rattlesnake, the bass in the ponds around my neighborhood really like them.

Spinner bait and soft plastics. 6-7in worm or senko. If you want a little more excitement a small top water.

Like the advice you have received.
I would be very tempted to add some Charlie Brewer Slider Worms 4" and Slider heads 1/16 or 1/8 ounce into the lure (suggestions) - on light action spinning rod. I'd use either black, black blue, pumpkin chartreuse or green pumpkin.
** A 4" Berkley Power Worm - Texas rigged with a light worm weight would be my other plastic option - to add to the list.
Google : Charlie Brewer's Slider Fishing if interested in these baits.
