friend and i both caught our limits yesterday within 1.5 hrs on texas side and I lost 6 due to weak line

PM replied.....if i don't get to see you out there then the best advice i can give is to work with nothing too heavy right now since the water is a bit low if you decide to fish the wall. you can also fish the rocks on texas side but with the way the flow looks on oklahoma it looks promising on that side

it took me a few trips up there and a beating to finally get on some fish.

"nothing too heavy" meaning not to use the long surf rod and 4oz sinker? It is critical to cast long distance to the wall to be able to catch those fishes, right?

guaranteed to get stuck if you using something that heavy. i have been able to use just 1oz and able to cast it into the slack water

I'm actually going to the keys this summer. I have tied so many I will have plenty to take with me. It would be nice to catch something other than Striper with these.
