Went yesterday for some drifting for catfish. Put in at Dutch branch Marina Parking lot. Thats right the parking lot. Need boat to get to marina. 22 feet deep at marina. Fished my normal area that normally is 22 feet deep now 42 ft deep. No luck at all did 2 long drifts. Went to 22 ft water which is the old shoreline. Same results no fish at all. I believe fishing is over for a while.

I was there yesterday also. Caught 1 sand bass. A guide was there and had some huge hybrids at the marina. Big D is what the boat said I believe.

Went this morning (Fri). Had no problem putting in at the Marina.
Caught 6 sand bass, 2 large mouth and 1 catfish. Sand bass by the bubblers on small spoons. LMB on crankbait and the catfish on a crankbait.
Corp of Engineers posted buoys in front of the spillway (just about to go over). They indicated that they expected Benbrook to breech the spillway early Tues morning.
If you go to Benbrook, boat over to where Mustang Park "used to be". Absolutely amazing!!!!!!! I found the boat ramp by waypoint and side scan in 26' of water.

6/15 Went out in the afternoon. Spent about 2 hours and tried everything I had in the boat. Wound up catching 2 white bass. Not very good!!! Very windy.
I'll try again today if the rain holds off.
The lake is dropping a bit (looks like about 18").
