eric the 12v was the one I always wanted as I had to clean the fish in my boat. I don't think they make those any longer. I wish I'd have seen this coming as I'd have stocked up on 12v american angler 12v fillet knives back when they were less than 20 bux each. Wish I'd have gotten about 20 of them now that they're no longer available. They lasted longer than the rapala 12v knives by at least 6 to 1 and even longer. I've still got a couple of them that are about worn out... they no longer keep the blades from slipping out and I've glued the frame together on them so I can't take them apart again to fix them. I wish I could find more of them but have went to the berkley fat handled knives as they have the same motor and gears but the cord wears out on them pretty fast ... I bought 5 of them recently so I should be set up for a while.

Really like the Electric Fisherman ( or the pirhana) by mister twister. 110v Had a berkley and a rapala 12 volts, but hate the blades. I don't skin cats first, just cut filet away from the skin after I've made the first pass. It cuts through the skin and leaves it attached to the filet. The mister twister blades have a shallower serration and dont tear the skin. Its all a matter of preference but thats where Id spend my money.
