Well guys I will say these are all great amazing baits and all were fish in clear creek and a stocked pond, one out fished others. In first place to my surprise was danny kings garlic with a total of 17 cats. Second was my favorite dough bait and some of yalls to, Stubbys with 15 cats. And for last it was cjs crawdad punch bait, it caught a total of 4. All were fished on bottom with Carolina rigs. I did have trouble keeping Stubbys on the hook but I got it to. All of these are good baits. If y'all know of any more punch baits I should try let me know. I'm a 16 year old catfishermen and am highly addicted to catfishing with stink baits. I love catfishing

LEWIS KING punch bait, i use it all the time, and around my neck of the woods its the choice bait of catfisherman..imo its way better than danny kings, ive never used stubbys or cj's so i wont compare it to them...

I don't know what area your from, but you might try and find some Sunnys super sticky stink bait. That's all I've ever used and it's never left me high and dry. Just get a dip of snuff before you start fishing.

I would try all the different flavors of CJs because there's several, and then the team catfish sudden impact or secret 7

Really like Danny kings stuff, stays on the hook. But the sudden impact and secret 7 are a really good product too. Use their "furry thang" trebles to hold it on. Ive made my own and Ive got a buddy who makes it too. He used to sell his at a few local bait shops in Dfw and north Tx. Murphy's catfish dough bait and dip. Great stuff if you can find it. But all the ones listed in this thread catch fish. Some days, they're just gonna eat what they want.

How were you having a problem keeping stubby's bait on the hook? I use it on a 4/0 circle hook and can get a few casts out of it. I guess if your water temp is up though it could just be breaking down faster.
