The Guadalupe has been a mess. Caught a little bass at Cypress Bend yesterday, with the flow down at around 2700. Who knows what will happen with the rain. Long term it should be good news, but it looks like creeks and the Comal for me this summer.

Thanks Curtis and Mitch for the replies. With all of the rain we have been having this year and all of the water that has been let out of Canyon Lake, the lower Guadalupe River is going to be a difficult place to fish for the next three to four weeks. Even the water temperature on Dunlap is a lot cooler for this time of year. I have heard that Lake Wood and Meadow Lake are also very difficult to fish at this time. Hopefully July conditions will get better!

Always love those Dunlap reports. Nice fish Chuck. Looks like (providing we get know more heavy rain) that the river lakes should be getting back to normal in about a week or so. Can't wait to see some BIG DUNLAP RIOS!

Thanks "Gitter" for the reply. According to the latest news the Army Corp of Engineers is slowing down the water out put on Canyon Lake. This will in turn slow down the current on the river lakes and the water will start to clear and warm up. Fishing should really improve each day! Side Note: Busy weekend on the Guadalupe this week. It's the Fourth of July!
