Fishing Lake 'O The Pines for the first time this weekend. Do I need to be concerned running the lake, or is it pretty safe? Also, any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

There are several threads with that info if you can find them. Up near the bridge on the upper end of the lake, stay in the marked boat lane from start to finish. Lower end is pretty open with an ok defined tree line, stay wide (east) of the island. There is a creek Chanel into Alley that you have to hit right, or you run aground on rocks. Idle past the bridges back in the creeks. Be smart, those trees are BIG and SOLID.

Buddy tells me the boat lane markers are almost underwater. I haven't seen it with my own eyes, but just be cautious
