 How many boats in Skeeter T?

I've got a client that wants me to take him to Fork on Saturday and was I wondering how many boats and if it would be worth going and starting at 4pm?
The day after catching a lot of fish is still a good day.

This weekend is the API tournament so it will be fairly hammered as well. Maybe not quite as many as the Skeeter tournament, but still ALOT.

900-1000 boats.. about 2000 fisherman.
it's crowded, but people are nice. if you've never been you'll have fun.

Last i heard about a week ago there were 800 fisherman and 400 boats in the field for the Skeeter Tourney. That number could have easily gone up since then.

Last i heard about a week ago there were 800 fisherman and 400 boats in the field for the Skeeter Tourney. That number could have easily gone up since then. I bet they break a 1000 this year. Kake is full. weather is just right, fishing is heating up. School is just letting out.

it's crowded, but people are nice. if you've never been you'll have fun. Without quetion that event has the nicest folks fishing of any of the big events out here. always amazed at how nice and friendly everyone is on the water. The boat lanes can get crowded but all in all it rocks. More of a social deal that serious tournament. Absolute blast. I miss fishing them.

I definitely miss each year that I don't fish it. It's a blast! Nice people everywhere, and it's really all about the comaradare and the company that you're with. The fishing on Fork........meh.

Ducks on Saturday only. But they can be anywhere at any time. I found a boat tossing them out a couple years back. Picked up 2, but shared 1. This will be my first skeeter in three years.
