It is that time of year again!! I am super excited to get the ball rolling on this grueling but very rewarding tournament. I am also excited to announce that Fun n Sun Boats and Tackle has agreed to partner up with Team Trail Outdoors to make this years event a very special event. This years event marks the 7th year to do this. Every year it seems like its hard to surpass the prior years event but we are going to make that happen this year. We also had several local sponsors last year that really stepped up to the plate to help us make last years event be a huge success. I can promise that without all the help from everyone, it would have been impossible to make it happen. I will post on here, Facebook and tto-tx.com all the special details as they come in. Just like every year, I will give last years teams 1 week priority entry. This means that if you fished last year that you have 1 week to get entry to me. On June 15th, I will open the registration to the public to fill the remaining spots. You can register by paying me in person, paying at Fun n Sun, mailing me a check or registering online at tto-tx.com. If you didn't get in last year and want to fish this year, the best thing to do is mail me a check on June 8th. I will hold the check until the 15th and however many repeat teams fail to pay the entry within the week will be replaced by a new team. This event fills up fast so don't delay registering. Dates: August 15/16th
Lakes: Eagle Mountain, Lake Worth and Grapevine
Entry: $300 (this is a prepaid tournament)
Big Bass: $20 option (big bass pays 1 place on all three lakes)
Max field: 55
No info rule: No information rule begins on August 9th at midnight
Off Limits: There is no off limits to practice. Teams can only practice with registered partner during no info week.
Priority entry dates: June 8th - 14th
Public entry dates: Begins June 15th until all 45 spots are filled.

Format:
Aug 15: Eagle Mountain 6am - 11am
Aug 15: Lake Worth 2pm-7pm
Aug 16: Lake Grapevine 6am - 1pm
Aug 16: Final weighin at Fun n Sun Hurst begins at 2pm

We will be having a Calcutta auction, live music, dinner and meeting and all kinds of special events surrounding this tournament.

I have permission from Texas Parks and Wildlife to do so. I give you guys a letter proving you are entered in my tournament. We are allowed to transport water from the lake as long as the water from the live wells are released in the parking lot and not into another lake. the fish are put in my release tank and after the weigh in they are transported back to Lake Grapevine. we did this in August last year and only had one 12 inch fish die. The system works great as long as all the teams do their part.

Monte, myself, and the whole Fun-N-Sun Boats & Tackle crew are PUMPED about this event! Just as last year, we will be giving all the contestants special 15-20%off on tackle and such at both the Calcutta/rules dinner, as well as the day of weigh in in our store. Also, our band will be back to perform so make sure you bring all your friends and family to the in store live weigh in.

Monte Coon and his Moritz Team have volunteered to serve hamburgers and all the fixins for all the teams after the Eagle Mountain leg of this tournament. They will grill them while we are fishing and have them ready for everyone upon arrival at Lake Worth. by doing this, it should give all the teams a little more time to rest and prepare for Lake Worth since its only a 3 hour break. Like I said in the original post, Its awesome to have such great partners in this. Thank you very much Monte and Moritz.
