From Genesis: "And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth."
Then He made the earth round...and He laughed and laughed and laughed!

Lighten up King fisher, name calling is a little unnecessary here. I thought we were all friends and trying to have a good time. why are you throwing punches at me. do you and I have a beef. do you see any moving water around me. I am very cautious of any moving water. where I was at was dead calm and I waded in first to make sure the road still existed. I would have been able to cross that section without swimming. If you and I have a problem please pm me so we can work it out. I would hate to meet you sometime and have this escalate. I was ignorant of the LAW. now I'm informed and wont use such poor judgment again. I was only sharing to give people a chuckle. I'm glad the warden let me go even though he was furious. have you never done something incorrect and been glad you only got a warning. You are experienced and respected here as we should all be respected, even if were goofing off.

I went back to fishing behind the barricades at 380 and rockhill road.Just DON'T drive around the barricade. The water is dead calm with tons of frogs, lots of catfish, but I couldnt catch anything big, but saw some huge splashes, of what kind of fish I dont know. Some one left their very nice truck and trailer next to the water behind the barricades and a cop showed up. I left but the cop was calling a tow truck. Man these cops are real serious. To all you on the forum spread the word, Do not park on the wrong side of the barricades.

The barricade is there for a reason...
Glad you learned your lesson; but yea, barricade should be common sense. Its not there so you can practice going around stuff.
Good luck out there. Be safe.

To all you on the forum spread the word, Do not park on the wrong side of the barricades. No kidding. With all the rescues that law enforcement has had to do recently, what with people driving into water and getting stuck, there's good reason to abide by the barricades.

It all could have been avoided if he had just simply respected the Barricade. He was wrong. He put himself in a situation for the Game warden to act an [censored].Some people are just a little too smart alec for their own good.Who knows what kind of day the Game warden was having? Sure he may have acted inappropriately but why give him the opportunity to do so by being a law breaker?

One thing not mentioned is that a Class B conviction makes your CHL go away, if you happen to have one. That's the best reason to know the laws and abide by them. "Turn around, don't drown" is all over the media.
