BRA does not stock hybrids in PK. The stripers are plentiful though!

Good luck! Been dying to get out but to busy lately. Although we have caught 4 monster hybrid this winter at PK, even though there not stocked there. Each one caught was the greatest fight I've had on PK.

I hear you about those Hybrids. I had one break off my 40 LB fluorocarbon leader yesterday at Tawakoni and steal my crankbait. I had a lot of instances where I'd bring one in and have one or two of my swivels bent open where they had pulled lose.

I have heard rumors that TPWD dumps surplus Hybrids in PK that they raise at the dam. I've also heard a theory where they came down Salt Creek from lake Graham. Don't know how they got in there but there are a few.

I will be headed out there for the first time this weekend. Hoping to get on some striper in between bass fishing. Any tips are welcome.

All I have to say is find clear water on the south end bright and early with good shad and there should be no problem catching stripers.

This monster hybrid was caught last summer at PK and this guy at the boat ramp was nice enough to let me photograph it before he went and had it weighed. I believe it was less than a pound of being the lake record hybrid. It does make you wonder what path it took to end up in there.

Younger brother Brady caught 13 pound hybrid a month or so back and it circled twice before we got it in the boat, talk about a fight.
