Last Sunday was my first time on Tawakoni. The wind was blowing hard. Caught five hybrids on the humps until the wind got bad. Tried a few points but could not see any fish. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Taking grandson on Saturday. Would like to put him on some fish. FYI the guy at Anchor Marine is a grump. How is the ramp at Lake Tawakoni State Park?

The state park ramp is very good. In general state park ramps are always great.

Bass champs on tawakoni Saturday...do they use state park?

I would avoid Tawakoni this coming Saturday per koddys'papa posting. It's going to be a madhouse. Beside you did good catching 5 hybrids. I was there Sunday too and it was a hurricane wind. We didn't stay long. We left at 1pm. Good luck if you go on Saturday.
