Triton 21hp with a 250 is also a 80 MPH boat. Lots of storage, big live wells and also rides good in rough water. The Triton XS is one of the best for Rough water.

Bass Cats are nice too:) Take a look at all of them. You will find one that fits your needs;) You can't go wrong with any of them. Just depends on what you like:)
Nitro Z9 has a big deck too.

You could have a square dance on the deck of my Triton 21 TRX, I doubt there are any boats wider that will run upper 70's.

If I had to bet, in this order, V20, Charger 797 or whatever it is, the new one and then a 921 Phoenix. I've set in the locks on the Red with most of them side by side. I've had two 921's and they have large up front.
Thanks, Billy

To answer the original question: I'm not positive who has the widest front deck. I DO know that the Bass Cat Caracal is the widest deck under 20' in the industry. I don't know the numbers on a V20. It wouldn't surprise me if the Caracal atleast matched everything else in the industry. It is the widest hull in the industry, which was accomplished through some major manufacturing changes to get the most out of industry regulations (everyone has to play in the same sandbox.) Length is another discussion. Length can be altered much easier, as you just change the size of the back deck. In length it's much more difficult to cross-analyze different length class boats. For example: a 21'6" boat has much more room to play with than a 20'4" boat. In my opinion, width is a more consistent measure.
Disclaimer: I have been out of the industry for a few years. My comments are separate and independent from BCB. The folks at BCB don't believe in directly comparing their product to the competitors.

The front deck on a Gambler Intimidator (20') is right at 10' long. The center box was big enough to get inside if you had to. I have not seen another 20' boat that was even close to that in front deck size.

I agree with the Gambler being the biggest, a friend of mine has one and you can have a piece band on it and still have room to dance.

Hmmmmmm......I don't see many on the lakes?? Too few dealers? Too high price? Ok, which would be more 'stable' fishing platform, Legend or Gambler? God Bless

When we went from Skeeter to Triton awhile back, the side-to-side stability went from abysmal to excellent. It was amazing how bad the Skeeter was and how good our Triton is.
That being said, I've fished out of a couple of Rangers that are better than either. The front deck on a Z521 is ridiculous.

I have a Skeeter and fished with a friend in a Triton. To me, the side to side stability of the Triton was far less. I could feel it immediately when we stated fishing. could be that it had a little to do with the size of this guy though, but I've fished with a lot of guys out of my boat and tippyness has never been an issue.

The Z522 ranger front deck is way bigger then the Z520 from all points. I don't know the actually dimensions of the decks, but the 22' boats like Skeeters 22I, Z522,and the shorter boats like the V20,921 Phoenix are all big decks can square dance on any of theses boats.
