Me and Todd liprip took a trip to see what the status of Eagle Mountain was. It is a red mudhole. Looked for three hours and never found a thing. My advice is to save your money and time until lake clears up. Lotz of floaters in lake but most not very big.We looked on humps, points and slopes and even chuck and wind on the banks. The fish are so scattered not even any marks worth fishing on. If you just have to fish try catfish. They are doing well. No clear water anywhere. Johnny

Looking at the 'feeder creeks' flowing into the lake, it's going to be a while! They are flowing almost 'white water', high and strong. EM is going to be a mudhole for more than a few days.... Watch out for lots of 'floaters'!! God Bless

It was ugly. Nice boat ride though.

I drove over spill way an hour ago and there were two boats fishing. One was on a famous hump, and the other in the ridge

I was up North on Monday and there wasn't much in terms of debris. Noticeable current and muddy water. The eater blues where jumping in the boat.

My wife and I spent 4 hours out there yesterday. I checked every way point on my DF. Marked very few fish and Ole Ugly slabs failed to catch one. We were mostly driving around. Needed to burn some bad gas out of my boat. It was very muddy and some small limbs. Did not see anything big though.

Same here Ruff. Not a peck. Ole uglies are good slabs but they will not catch fish if they don't see or can't see them. LOL. Fish are so scattered if you caught one it would be an accident. Johnny

Man, can't wait for the dang lake to clear.....even just a little but, like someone said above. Sure is nice to ride on the lake at 'full pool'. I had never been able to do that.... Good luck to all, be careful...full lakes are going to draw lots of jet fleas/power boaters and many inexperienced boat operators! I have already seen at least two... Lord, wish there was a required boating course to operate ANY watercraft God Bless

It's not that bad out here. I caught 2 up tight in cover only fishing 3hrs. S. East side has better clarity but lots of boats. I'll be skipping docks with creature baits and fluk'n.
I've been frog'n but no love yet
