I have tubed it many times and even kayaked it quite a few times. Bass are shallow, lilly pads are not thick yet but cat tails are all over. During the warmer months, the whole lake shoreline is covered with huge patches of pads. Worms fished near cover should land you some good fish. I would put in near the second ramp or somewhere near one of the campgrounds. Check out the structure you will have acess too and enjoy

Check out the redear and bluegill fishing while you're there. You won't believe how big the average fish is on this lake. They fight like nice sized black bass to boot!!! Crickets and nightcrawlers work best. My personal best redear, bluegill and channel cat have come from this lake and I have only fished it twice.

Hey,
What bait do you use for the bream? I always like crickets if I can get em.

Do you fish the trees to the left of ramp #1 or somehwere else?

If you go out let us know how you do. Thats a pretty small lake so float tube should be great. Just think if you hook a good bull red you can go waterskiing for a little while.
