Yeah, good buy BUT, I had one. Worked great again BUT, some peckerwood came along and CUT THE EXPOSED WIRE. Cut it right off at the camera head. So, now it's totally useless. Sure wish I could have caught him/her. Man, would have more than a few things to say about that.... Some have no respect for others hard earned money spent on the 'niceties'.... God Bless

It is a shame to let it go to waste. You should be able to add a wire even if the exposed end is very short, then epoxy over the splice. The repaired unit will not look as good, but it should be functional.

There is NO exposed wire left. The tick turd cut it even with the top of the camera. Wish there was even some to try and repair but, there is not. Really don't care about the looks, just really PO's me that some punk and his pocket knife would be that jealous of others property. I really needed and used that thing because of my back. Can't turn or twist to see the boat. Ended up putting a hitch on the front bumper. A pain to unhook and then 're-hook' to the front hitch but, at least I can now back the boat. God Bless.....good answer....just won't work in this case PS: If you have one - do your utmost to hide/cover/disguise the exposed wire!

I like the Eye Ball camera wireless and I cannot believe all of the uses for this camera. Used it the other day to back a trailer wheel up onto a block lifting the other wheel so I could work on it. Camera is magnetic and will work at about 200ft. Monitor plugs into the 12v plug in the cab.

That sounds good. Where did you find this? I will 'Google' but, want to be sure I'm looking at what your talking about. Sure would make my backing my rig up MUCH EASIER!!! Lee is there enough wire ends left in the hole at the camera to have a piece of wire soldered to it?

Cut off right at the top of the camera. I have not tried to open the camera..... I don't even know if that can be done. Thanks for your interest... God Bless

It honestly looks like the only real 'workable' fix is to buy a new pickup with the camera mounted in the tailgate. I just can't make myself do that, at least not yet. Wife helps me back up to the trailer now.... God Bless

The cameras work great....till the lens clouds over just like headlights.
