Anyone have much luck catching Blues on Sureshot? I have only used it twice but I have only caught channels on it.

I fish Somerville and have only caught one blue on SureShot. I have fished Gibbons creek one day we caught 48 blues na dno channles, next day we caught half blues and half channels. I have caught blues in Cedar Creek, RC, Eagle Mountain, and yes you can catch blues on SureShot.

Have personally caught many Blues at Lewisville (And other lakes)
on Sure Shot, in my opinion I have done better on Channels with DK, and better on Blues with Sure Shot, remember this is just my personal opinion

Try shad next time. :-) I have heard catfish say "It's whats for dinner."

Last Monday my fishing buddy and I caught 32 blues and 18 channel on Sure Shot at Lake Tawakoni. We usually catch blues everytime we go out but in hotter weather it seems we catch more channel. If you are fishing where the shad are running you can catch some nice blues on punch bait.

This last week end caught my first blues on Sureshot, so i answered my own question there...
