I'm watching the Bill Dance show and his sponsor is garmin graphs. His equipment log says that he is using a garmin graph in the show , so why would they want to blurr out the graph? Have seen other shows where they blurred it out also but slipped up and showed a lowrance graph on the boat.Come on Bill if lowrance is better than garmin just use it and quit blurring out the graph on the show.Just shows that it is all about the money. Rant over, Thanks.

why does Bill need a graph to catch his trained stock tank bass That's what they are, about 20 years ago I won a two day trip on the same lakes he fishes on his show. my brother-in-law and myself had 100 fish days.

Ive been seeing this too, lol I brought it up to my wife. They block it out because the manufacturer isn't his sponsor. The funny thing is why blur it. They also blur his little bag of baits by his foot. Seems to me it would be easier to put the bag away than to have a blur during your tv show. I noticed this a few weeks ago. I can do a small bag of baits blurred but an 9 inch graph is a little distracting from the fish catching. Take a marker or tape. black it out.... I love bill but the blurring has gotten out of hand. Guess he thinks they will pick him up eventually.

It may also be that shows are filmed far in advance & then sponsers change before broadcast.

Bill Dance just switched over to Garmin from Lowrance this year. (Him and about half the elite field) So all of the old re-run shows they blur it out. All of the new shows he is using the new Garmin products.

Anyone else notice bill is using allot of spinning gear? Wonder if he is getting told old to use the heavier tackle. I have seen 3 shows where he is using a spinning rod for tecniques where a baitcast would be way better. Like flipping a jig with a spinning rod really?

I don't watch Bill Dance but on Timmy Horton's show they pixel out the profound.com logo under his name. Profound is one of his sponsors.

Every time I watch a Bill Dance show, I never know if it's new or was shot when I was a teenager. The production value hasn't aged in at least a decade. I still enjoy them, but come on.

Some of the shows were filmed before he went to Garmin, therefore he is still using Lowrance and they blurr it out. As for the spinning rod on jigs, he says when he is fishing certian techniques, like reeds or grass edges, he gets a better straight down drop with the spinning rod, the jig does not fall away from the target. I tried that with the spinning rod but I missed to many bites on the drop, so I went back to flipping stick.
Don Chumley If I ain't fishing, I ain't happy. But mostly I'm happy. I love being retired, the check is in the mail. Mt. 6:33
