I too have experienced the kindness and friendliness with the country folk and fishermen! I enjoy getting to visit with fishermen of all races while on the lake! When everyone treats each other with kindness and love, a person's skin color is a non-factor. Our values and character should be what is important. Thank you, TXBatman!
"But God demonstrates His own for love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

Thank you Batman for I feel this is the best post I will read today, but it saddens me that we even have to think or talk about race again, why this Government and the Media feel's the need to try and separate this country again I do not understand

In reading this post, I find myself with a Face Leak. May I offer a few simple comments? First, Good Folks is Good Folks, no matter what color their skin is. Second, I live in the country, surrounded by Good Folks! I agree with your Summation of Country Folks and Fishermen. Third, I pray that parents all over the world would realize that they are accountable to God for the way they raise their children. Children can grow up to be Good Folks, and it is our job as parents to teach them by example how. As for Me and My House, We Shall Serve The Lord!
"When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are undisturbed." Luke 11:21

You are so right bro! The old divide and conquer, they keep us divided with Race, religion, politics and economic class while they steal our freedoms and hoard 99% of the countries wealth. Just imagine if we would ALL get together and pull the rope the same way our greatness as a nation would be 100 fold!
'A veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard, or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his, or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to The 'United States of America', for an amount of 'up to and including ones life.' (Author unknown)

Thanks for the post. I pray for our country and people everyday. It is a sad state of affairs that your post has to be written and I wish all people would judge all people by character and not color. Again, thank you.
