Has anyone been to Denton Creek @ Trophy Club? A few years ago when Grapevine lake was about 5ft above normal, I had a good day launching in the creek and exploring the northwest part of the lake. 17ft above normal, though, seems like most of that park would be under water. Maybe I'll drive up there today to scout.

Park is closed. Probably for a while. You can see the lake is up to about 200 yards from main entrance. The guy at the gate said i could put in down at the end of the dirt road if i want to carry the yak down there. Would be great if you had a cart because the forest in that area is flooded and it would make for a cool paddle over the field and trees.

well since the original post lake is at +25 instead of just +17... i haven't swung by trophy club since the lake came up but its a pretty flat place - if it was that close to the entrance at +17 i bet you could actually launch straight to the lake from the entrance right now w/o even the walk
