Please share with us where can you buy this rod in his $150 budget?

OP,

Take a look at Powell Rods Inferno series.
it was tagged $179 at Southwest Service in Dallas. I bought it and a Zillion TWS for just around $430. I know the reel was tagged $299. Didn't really do all the math.

I also bought a Facon Cara medium heavy Micro for $110 and a Falcon Original medium light for $45. I always stop in to see what's on the clearance racks.

Bought a GLoomis GLX there for $200 a few months ago. Just couldn't justify the extra $20 for the NRX that was next to it....also half price.

Best T-rigg rods for their price ranges: $250: Dobyns Champion 734(premium and fells like it), $150: Falcon Lowrider(Lizzard Dragger model is sweet for T-Riggs) and finally $50: Allstars in 7' "Heavy Worm" model(for real these are great for the money from Acadamy).

Falcon Bucoo 7'MH for 1/4 oz and lighter and 7' H Bucoo for 3/8 and 1/2 oz.
You can get Bucoos for $99 at Brannons Bass Shop in Powderly and they have great service also

In your budget, and i am partial to kistler now(an i have owned or still own 99% of the rods mentioned here already)

7'3" Kistler magnesium mh 169.00
7'0 mh carbon steel 119.00

and slightly higher is wht i would actually recommend if you can swing a few more bucks is the klx, but the others are fine rods as well.

the carbon steel is a ton of rod for the money...

7/' klx mh for 199.00 or the 7'3" for 209.00
