Wondering when I should finally clean my reels. Most of the people I talk to say they never mess with their reels. Is it worth the money to send them in? And does it really help?

If they are dirty or their performance has decreased then yes it's worth it especially for only 15 bucks

Hey Steve, I just checked out your website and can you do cork handles? What would that cost? Also I'm interested in a different color spool tension cap.

I agree with Snake on this one. If your reel is pretty dirty grimey/ or you are having performance issues it is definitely worth the $15 to clean. And not letting your reels get really dirty can save you money and headaches in the long run and the reel will last alot longer. Just my .02

we recommend a once a year take down. that means take every part off frame, inspect and clean it. Once a year maintenance is essential to keep reel working like a charm for you.
